The hubbub of a train station is stimulating, intimidating, and fascinating...a sensory firehose of sight, sound, and smell. Union Station exudes architectural grandeur and majesty celebrated in sweeping features virtually mimicking the trail of the conductor's baton in the grand finale of the "1812 Overture." So much to see, so many to meet, but never enough time.
This is another shot from last week's Union Station walkabout. My bashful nature makes me more of an observer than a participant BUT my camera provides me a bit of a shield and an excuse so I too can hustle and bustle about without the purpose of travel or warmth or business.
I've added a Black & White version of the same photo...which do you like the best??
