Library of Congress

In a world of cool buildings, this one, this one, really takes the cake. I love libraries but didn't actually sense that this was a library since we weren't allowed into the "stacks." And we couldn't go into the "Reading Room" which is reserved for the serious researchers or congress and its staff.  But we could walk about in areas that cried out for our attention with their soaring ceilings, vivid paintings, and patterns, and all of the marble in the walls, columns and floors. Very cool. Millions of books, but not in a place where I could actually touch one.

Architecture used to be something awesome to behold! Now it's just boring. Those are amazing captures, Bro! Loved every one of them!
