I was waiting on the shore for the wind to calm because I was hoping to capture the vertical reflections of the trees in the still water with the lone heron wading in the shallows. As I was ever so patiently waiting for the wind to stop and the waters to still, another heron flew into my space. I took the shot...look just above the heron's head and you'll see his twin, head tucked, flying by in the wind. But...as shallow as it was, he was still a long way from shore and so this isn't my longest lens and I could not capture the detail I wanted. This is a half crop!
