RIchmond's Holocaust Museum

September 07, 2021  •  1 Comment

I was walking to the canal on 20th Street in Richmond today when I saw the side of the Holocaust Museum glowing from the reflections of the windows from the building across the street. The eerie reflections got me to thinking...I was happy to see there is a museum for remembering here. I didn't have time budgeted for a visit today but will definitely go back soon. The museum is on a side street, sort of out of the way and is right next to where the Libby Prison used to be. Racism and nationalism seemed to be tied together so I'm guessing it's appropriate that the museum is close to where the civil war prison used to stand.
